With a portfolio currently valued at approximately 500,000, the MII operates as a nonprofit organization under the McIntire Foundation. The Institute strives to achieve real capital appreciation through a variant perception of the market. The Institute was founded in 1994 by an endowment established by McIntire alumnus John Griffin President, Blue Ridge Capital .
