Johann Christoph Friedrich Klug was a Germany German entomologist born 5 May 1775 in Berlin and died 3 February 1856 in the same city. He described the butterflies and some other insects of Egypt Upper Egypt and Arabia in Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg and Wilhelm Friedrich Hemprich s Symbol Physic Berlin, 1829 1845 . He was professor of medicine and entomology in the Humboldt Museum Humboldt Universitat University of Berlin where he curated the insect collections from 1810 to 1856. At the same time he directed the Botanical Garden in Berlin Botanic Garden in Berlin which contains his collections. Klug worked mainly on Hymenoptera and Coleoptera . The plant genus Klugia now called Rhynchoglossum , Family Gesneriaceae was named in his honour as was the butterfly Geitoneura klugii . Axel Vilfred Nielsen 13 December 1902 24 February 1970 was a Denmark Danish astronomy astronomer at the Ole R mer Observatory in Aarhus from 1927 until his death in 1970. In 1921, while still a student, Nielsen established his private observatory Spica in Glostrup. The observatory was located on the premises of a local enterprise, where Nielsen s father was employed as a manager. Axel V. Nielsen graduated in 1926 from the University of Copenhagen. In 1927 Nielsen was employed as an assistant with the Ole R mer Observatory in Aarhus, later as head of section. The Ole R mer Observatory had been established in 1911 in 1956 it was handed over to the University of Aarhus. The crater Nielsen crater Nielsen on the Moon is named after Axel V. Nielsen and the American physicist Harald Herborg Nielsen 1903 1973 . Nielsen published several books and articles on astronomy and the history of astronomy in Denmark. In 1944 he published a major work on the Danish astronomer Ole R mer 1644 1710 .
