Tuff Darts is an American punk rock band. They were one of the first bands to establish an audience at CBGB . They reached their greatest fame in the mid late 1970s with such songs as Slash , Your Love Is Like Nuclear Waste and their biggest hit single, All For The Love of Rock and Roll. The band appeared at popular New York City clubs like Max s Kansas City and CBGB and featured Robert Gordon musician vocals , Jeff Salen guitar , Bobby Butyani guitar , John DeSalvo bass , and Johnny Morelli drums . This was the original band that was on the Live at CBGB s compilation record. After parting ways with Gordon, the band found new lead singer Tommy Frenzy. In 1978 the group released Tuff Darts , on Sire Records , produced by Bob Clearmountain and Tony Bongiovi , shortly before disbanding. Tuff Darts reunited in 2002 to play a gig upon the release of Tuff Darts on compact disc CD . They subsequently played several additional shows and recorded one more album, 2007 s You Can t Keep A Good Band Down . It was released only in Japan. In 2009 Spectra Records released two albums worldwide, Here Comes Trouble and You Can t Keep a Good Band Down . Tuff Darts , You Can t Keep a Good Band Down and Here Comes Trouble are now available as Music download downloads on iTunes and other sites. Nic Tuff is a British radio DJ with a career spanning two decades. His first foray into broadcasting came when, at the age of 11, he co hosted a competition on his local radio station, Radio Bristol , along with veteran broadcaster Roger Bennett . From there, he went on to join his local hospital radio service in Bristol . His big break came thanks to his mother, who wrote to a presenter at Radio Wiltshire . Nic was invited to join the station as a general dogsbody, but learnt a lot and soon progressed to presenting shows. Since then, he has worked at some of the UK s best known radio stations. The magazine was launched in April 1984 by store owner Ernie White businessperson Ernie White , who named the magazine for his ability to offer the tough stuff to find in his store and to write about in the magazine. The show first aired in 1989 and was one hour long, split between TNT Motorsports pulling and monsters. The original hosts were Army Armstrong and Scott Douglass, with Kris Chapman later added as a pit reporter. Soon the show began focusing on the monster trucks and would use the entire hour to do so. There were a few weekly segments on each episode Crunch of the Week a crash from either a previously aired event, the event televised, or a non televised event. Power Play sponsored by Nintendo, a wild moment from the current event, later renamed Power Drive in 1991. Monster Smash the final round of racing, preceded by ominous Jaws film Jaws like music and special effects. This part appeared on the TNT version only.
