Benn Harradine born October 14, 1982 in Newcastle, New South Wales is an Australia n discus throw er who was selected to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . Harradine made the final of the discus at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne where he finished eighth. Since then he has broken the Australian record twice, his current personal best being 66.45 metres thrown in the 2010 Crotia Cup. He is a proud indigenous athlete from the Wotjobaluk mob in the Wimmera district of Victoria. He cites land rights activist Vincent Lingiari as one of the people he admires. The Benn Hall is a Conference hall conference , seminar , exhibition hall exhibition and party venue located in Rugby, Warwickshire , England .
