Jutland cattle are a rare Denmark Danish breed of cattle used in both milk dairy and beef production. Bred from the indigenous cattle of Jutland the breed could be light grey, dark grey or black pied with upward curving horns. The first herdbook published in 1881 had a small dairy type and a larger beef type. In the first half of the 20th century the breed was extensively crossed with Dutch black and white cattle to boost milk production. Since 1987 the Jutland breed has been reconstructed using unregistered stock from farms which had avoided crossing their cattle with Dutch cattle. The modern cows are typically 132 cm tall at the withers and weigh 550 kg, while bulls are typically 145 cm tall and weigh 1000 kg. Jutland is a Wargaming wargame designed by Jim Dunnigan and published by Avalon Hill Avalon Hill Game Company in 1967 in games 1967 . The game covers the Battle of Jutland , fought in May and June 1916 between the United Kingdom British Grand Fleet and the Germany German High Seas Fleet off the Jutland coast of Denmark . The game is unusual for an Avalon Hill game in that there is no mapboard. Instead, the game operates on two levels a higher level in which the two players use pencil marks on pre printed paper maps of the North Sea to plot movements of their fleets, and, once fleets come into contact, a lower level in which the players deploy cardboard pieces each representing a single capital ship or a flotilla of light cruisers or destroyers on any convenient flat and large surface. Game play at the lower level is more like miniature play than like Avalon Hill s traditional hexgrid mapboard game. The game provided custom rulers for determining movement. The rulers had a rounded end for changing the direction of a line of ships. The game s instructions noted that the ship counters were not to scale in relation to movement rulers. Instructions were included for the gamer to make scale movement rulers. unreferenced date February 2010 The State Prison of East Jutland is a Denmark Danish prison located at Enner Mark, west of the city of Horsens , and inaugurated on the 2nd of October 2006. The prison replaced the old Horsens State Prison, from which the last prisoners were removed in November 2006. It is the first new Danish prison since The State Prison in Ringe , which was opened thirty years earlier. Facilities The prison has space for nearly 230 inmates, who are separated into five divisions according to their level of risk. Four of the divisions are identical, each containing 24 Prison cell cells providing space for 48 inmates. The fifth division is used for Solitary confinement isolation , and is also used to house higher risk inmates. This division also houses the prison s medical department. The East Jutland prison is very modern in terms of both security and design. Security measures include Fingerprint recognition fingerprint readers instead of keys, high walls, and two long fences. All outdoor areas are Video surveillance video monitored , and there are also Motion detection motion sensors and infrared cameras throughout the prison.
