Scrambled Aches is a 1957 Warner Bros. cartoon in the Looney Tunes series featuring Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner released 26 January, 1957 . The title is a pun on the food scrambledeggs . Plot Introduction Wile E. Coyote Eternalii Famishiis and the Road Runner Tastyus Supersonicus are continuing their chase through the twisty roads of the desert. As Wile E. closes in on the Road Runner, a 4 way intersection is reached and the Road Runner takes a left turn. Wile E. looks back as he brakes himself into the dirt, not noticing a DANGER BRIDGE OUT sign, and thus falls off the edge of the plateau and busts a hole in the roads below. The Coyote walks out of the hole and plans his next scheme. 1. Thinking simple, the Coyote attempts to simply trip the Road Runner with a fake coyote foot to avoid unpleasant repercussions on himself , but only ends up getting the fake foot winded. As he walks out, he kneels on the leg and scratches his head, only for the leg to unreel itself, twisting his body in turn. 2. Wile E. broods in the dirt, and soon comes up with a new plan Throw out a dynamite stick with a string. However, when Wile E. circles the string over his head, it lassos itself around the coyote s face before exploding. 3. Going for speed again, the Coyote then builds a contraption made from a fan, a sail, and roller skates to propel himself down the road. This works excellent in a straight line, but cannot follow the Road Runner around a tight curve. The poor Coyote is thrown into a pool, digs through a dirt beach, and slams directly into a wall. 4. Next, Wile E. holds onto a large firework and lights it as the Road Runner passes, hoping to give semi aerial chase. However, the firework takes off without its owner, flaying the coyote s chest in the process, and then it hits a curve and reverses itself, also flaying Wile s pate and deeply annoying the devious coyote. 5. Other advantages include smaller usage of storage space, and lack of need for refrigeration . Powdered eggs also have fewer calories and more nutritional value than normal eggs, which suggests that powdered eggs could have been fortified. Space Eggs is a video game for the Apple II computer, created by Nasir Gebelli and published by Sirius Software in 1981. Description Space Eggs is an unofficial port of the arcade game Moon Cresta to the Apple II . In the game the player moves a ship from side to side across the bottom of the screen while trying to avoid colliding with or being shot by the aliens attacking above. Each level pits the player against multiple aliens of a particular class, which become more difficult to destroy as the levels progress. The game begins with a view of the player s three ships docked together. The first ship, which is the smallest and has only one cannon, splits off from the others and gameplay begins. If an alien touches the ship or successfully hits it with a bomb, the ship is destroyed and replaced by the next one in the set. The second and third ships have progressively wider wingspans and two cannons each. The game ends when all ships are lost. Aliens begin as harmless, multi colored eggs bobbing randomly above the ship, and must be shot to release the creatures within. Separating eggs is a process usually used in cooking , in which one removes the egg yolk from the egg white . This is used to allow one part of the egg to be used without the other part &mdash for instance, many recipes require frothing egg whites to make a foam, which will not work if the yolk is also included, as fat prevents eggs from foaming. Since egg yolks are high in fat, it is best to separate them before whisking. Methods All methods for separating eggs make use of the fact that the yolk can hold itself together while the white is much more runny. Since older eggs have more watery yolks which make separation difficult, it is a good idea to begin with the freshest http www.hormel.com templates knowledge knowledge.asp?catitemid 2&id 185 Freshness eggs available. Old eggs can be used for other dishes that do not require separation, like omelette s. An egg is fresh if it lays flat at the bottom of a glass of water. It is bad if it floats. Different methods http www.hormel.com templates knowledge knowledge.asp?catitemid 9&id 403 Break the egg and use your fingers to strain out the yolk, while the whites run into the bowl below. This is very quick but messy. Crack the egg in half and cradle the yolk in one half of the shell using the other half of the shell to keep it from slipping out while draining the white into a bowl. If some white is left with the yolk, carefully pass the yolk back and forth between halves until it is all drained, being sure not to break the yolk on the sharp edges of the shell. Then deposit the yolk into another bowl. Break the egg on to a plate, and trap the yolk under a glass. Carefully, drain off the whites, lifting the glass slightly. Use a needle to pierce the egg and run the whites out, leaving the yolk inside. Break the egg into a funnel , thus capturing the yolk. Specialized tools are also available for this process.
