This album is a result of a year and a half prior, Stuart Rudd begins to explain. The ups and downs definitely it all came to a peak when we were in London. We had forty or fifty songs written and we could not come to agree on a direction to go. Then with the departure of another guitarist Tim Henwood we really had to pick ourselves up off the canvas again. We realised that the songs we had been writing weren t the ones that we wanted to do, because we were suddenly able to move as one in the direction we wanted to go. It was like a huge weight off our shoulders. Tim Henwood left the band to form the Androids who had a top ten hit in Australia with the song Do it with Madonna . Singles Stick Together was the first single released from the album and made the Australian Top 40 . The third single released, So Lonely , is an acoustic song different from the heavier sound of the band and made the ARIA top 50 in February 2004. The CMJ Rock Hall Music Fest was an annual music festival that took place in venues across Cleveland, Ohio . The festival was sponsored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , located on the shores of Lake Erie Downtown Cleveland downtown , as well as by CMJ, or College Music Journal , a weekly magazine for the music industry and college radio stations in the United States and Canada. It premiered in 2005. The festival featured live bands at a variety of locations throughout Cleveland, and initially included a festival village on the west bank of The Flats near the Cuyahoga River . The second festival was held June 14 18, 2006, and featured a relocated festival village at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Attendance at both the festival and the village location improved during its second run. I Dig Rock and Roll Music is a song recorded in 1967 by the folk music folk group Peter, Paul and Mary . The writing credits are given as Stookey Mason Dixon. Noel Stookey Stookey is the Paul of Peter, Paul and Mary. Mason is musician and producer Jim Mason producer Jim Mason . Dixon is Dave Dixon , who was later a popular air personality on progressive rock radio station WYCD WABX in Detroit, Michigan Detroit . The tune peaked at 9 on the Billboard Top 100. The song is one of the few PP&M singles not to appear on Billboard s Easy Listening survey, although it did make the Record World Non Rock listing. The song first appeared on the group s 1967 LP Album 1700 , and has appeared on retrospective collections since then.
