Rimer began his broadcasting career in Calgary with CFAC AM CFAC Radio . While at CFAC, he served as the play by play man for the Calgary Centennials of the Western Hockey League . Jeff would then spent over four years working for CBC Television in Edmonton . He was the network s gymnastics commentator during the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal . He also worked for eight years as the sports director and Montreal Canadiens pre and post game show host at CINW AM CFCF Radio . From 1983 84 NHL season 1983 1992 93 NHL season 1993 , Rimer called Washington Capitals games on Home Team Sports and WDCA , first reporting from ice level and later the play by play action. He also served as the sports director at WBAL AM WBAL Radio, where he hosted the Baltimore Orioles pre and post game shows, co hosted syndicated college basketball shows with Billy Packer and Gary Williams , and was a sideline reporter for Maryland Terrapins football . He was awarded a regional Emmy Award for his play by play work and won a United Press International UPI National Broadcasting Award for his work at WBAL. The University of Virginia Japanese Text Initiative JTI is a project intended to provide a comprehensive Internet online database of Japanese literature Japanese literary texts . Sponsored by the University of Virginia, the online collection contains somewhere over 300 texts from Japan s pre modern and modern periods generally defined as before and after the Meiji Restoration of 1868 . Pre modern texts include the Man y sh , the Tale of Genji , the Kokin Wakash , and the H j ki . Modern texts include works by Natsume S seki , Mori gai , and Ry nosuke Akutagawa Akutagawa Ry nosuke . Amberlife born Edgaras Lubys on 17 August 1983 in Klaip da is a popular Lithuania n musician and songwriter. He had successfully collaborated with well known Lithuanian producer company Cactus and it made Amberlife s international career realistic. He had released three albums and had become known in Latvia , Russia and Scandinavia . A limited edition CD In Your Eyes 3000 copies was released in January 2004 featuring all the songs from Amberlife s debut album plus four versions of In Your Eyes . A video for In Your Eyes was filmed in Stockholm . During his stay in Stockholm Amberlife was photographed by famous photographer Bingo Rimer , who has worked with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith , Backstreet Boys and others. Amberlife participated in the Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 2004 national selection for the Eurovision song contest. In Your Eyes placed 4th in the final.
