He was born at Cork in 1790, and after taking holy orders in the Roman Catholic Church was appointed curate of the church of St. Peter and St. Paul in his native city. He became parish priest of Glanmire , and afterwards of Passage West , county Cork, where he died on 18 March 1847. Works He published Letters from the Abb Edgeworth to his Friends, with Memoirs of his Life, including some account of the late Roman Catholic Bishop of Cork, Dr. Moylan, and letters to him from the Right Hon.     The Crusade and Death of Richard I is a mid 13th century Anglo Norman literature Anglo Norman prose chronicle by an anonymous author. It tells of the journey of Richard I of England King Richard I the Lionheart from England to the Holy Land on the Third Crusade kings Crusade from 1190 to 1191. The chronicle details the trip through France , Sicily , and Cyprus , as well as the siege and capture of Acre city Acre , Richard s capture in Austria on the return trip, and his eventual return to England. Later it describes his campaigns against Philip II of France in Normandy , and his death at Ch lus in 1199. It is based on the writings by Roger of Howden , Roger of Wendover and Matthew Paris .
