It was located between Newport railway station, Melbourne Newport and Galvin railway station Galvin stations. Paisley was opened on 14 October 1929. Though it was a public platform, it played a key role in servicing refineries in the area. In 1985, a new extension between Westona railway station Westona and Laverton railway station Laverton was built. This was as a result of the electrification of the Werribee line, but at the same time, the route of the line was changed to link Altona, Victoria Altona with Laverton. This was to try to make a more viable route, as both Paisley and the nearby station of Galvin were little used. As a result, trains on the Werribee line were diverted through Westona and Altona railway station Altona , and Paisley, along with Galvin was bypassed and closed. The last trains stopped at the station on 14 April 1985. While the subway was filled in post closure, an island platform still exists adjacent to the Millers Road overpass in Altona. This is still visible from some peak hour express services and passing Geelong V Line trains, which take the direct route via Paisley. Orphan date November 2006 Solar puffing or Solar toking are some names given to the act of using a magnifying lens to heat cannabis for consumption. Many practitioners of this method believe that by using heat from sunlight, instead of heat from a lighter, that the cannabis is consumed in a more natural way, since the sunlight is the only heat source which also comes directly from nature. Utilization of this method also provides the practitioner the ability to consume a greater amount of THC within a given amount of cannabis because more THC is preserved for inhalation due to a lower heating temperature as opposed to that of combustion . This method is similar to that of vaporization . Solar puffing is also called solar toking and taking solar hits.
