Such individuals can still volunteer for service, however, usually being placed in rear echelon positions. Additionally, Profile 24 is a code used to classify those who are deemed temporarily unfit for military service. 1. Application profile

In computer science, an application profile is a set of metadata elements, policies, and guidelines defined for a particular application. ref name Dublin Core glossary Application profile cite web title Dublin Core metadata glossary url http dublincore.org documents 2001 04 12 usageguide glossary.shtml A accessdate 2006 06 08 ref The elements may be from one or more element sets, thus allowing a given application to meet its functional requirements by using metadata from several element sets including locally defined sets. For example, a given application might choose a subset of the Dublin Core that meets its needs, or may include elements from the Dublin Core, another element set, and several locally defined elements, all combined in a single schema. An application profile is not complete without documentation that defines the policies and best practices appropriate to the application Advantages Defines an application appropriate set of properties in a public and communicable manner. This permits the building of loosely coupled systems i.e. independent of each others detailed specification that still offer powerful capabilities. Disadvantages Narrow application scope, which may limit a profile s widespread applicability and also limits the likely synergy from re use of tools from other projects outside that scope. Then after student completes the FAFSA the official financial aid application colleges may then make adjustments to their financial aid awards if necessary. This data includes standard information such as number of pupils and school type, and a summary of school performance in National Curriculum assessment s. In addition, schools and their governors are required to compile sections of the profile in answer to the questions as follows What have been our successes this year? What are we trying to improve? How have our results changed over time? How are we making sure that every child receives teaching to meet their individual needs? How do we make sure our pupils are healthy, safe and well supported? What have we done in response to our Ofsted report? How are we working with parents and the community? Such profiles must be produced by all maintained school s in England, except for maintained nursery school s. Other school types are not required to produce a profile, although may elect to do so. 1. Developmental profile

refimprove date December 2007 A developmental profile is a standardized psychodynamic diagnostic instrument for assessing clinically relevant personality characteristics. It is based on the clinical observation that adult personality characteristics often bear a considerable similarity to the behavioural patterns of early childhood . Thus the psychoanalytical developmental theories and the classification of behaviour are integrated in the developmental profile. The developmental profile is a matrix mathematics matrix consisting of 10 developmental levels horizontal rows and nine developmental levels vertical columns . Each line describes various categories of behaviour and for each line there are various phases in the development of the psychosocial capacities. The lowest six levels refer to maladaptive behaviour. The information for the developmental profile is obtained using a semi structured interview that explores the patient s Habit psychology habitual behaviour during the previous decade. A developmental profile can be made using a registration protocol . The information from filling in the developmental profile provides guidelines with respect to the goals of treatment and the manner in which they can be pursued. It can also be useful in understanding the behaviour of a patient. Robert B. McCall, Mark I. Appelbaum, and Pamela S. Hogarty argue that since there is no necessary relation between cross age correlations and the nature of developmental profile contrours, and since individual subjects can display marked changes even though cross age correlations are high, the investigation of change in developmental profile of mental performance should be considered a separate and important issue ref Robert B.
