    Orphan date November 2006 Oranj is an alternative funk rock band from Romania . History Oranj was formed in 2002, by Flavius Misar Bass guitar bass and Dan Nicolici guitar , aiming to create something different from what was happening in their hometown those days. The future percussion drummer , Paul Barbura and the band s vocals vocalist , Tina Bucsa soon joined the band. Nicolici later left the band to be replaced by Cristi Valentin Popovici. Oranj played at numerous big festivals in their hometown and opened for some of the most important bands in Romania like IRIS Romanian band IRIS , Cargo band Cargo , Proconsul band Proconsul and Implant Pentru Refuz . The band had the opportunity to play in 2003 and 2004 at the biggest Rock music rock festival in the western part of Romania, Rock la Mures .
