Wood played ice hockey, lacrosse and soccer he was a member of the Winnipeg Scottish that won the Canadian National Challenge Cup Canadian Senior soccer championship in 1915 in his youth, but is most notable for his curling achievements. Later, Sylvester is walking along while the baby bulldog is biting at his tail. He slaps the bulldog off camera, only for Butch to catch up to him and wallop Sylvester in retaliation. After that, Sylvester reluctantly plays fetch with the baby bulldog and decides to throw the stick into a busy street, hoping the bulldog will be flattened. However, the young bulldog retrieves it successfully. Annoyed, Sylvester prepares to throw it again but Butch sees this and throws the stick into traffic himself, pointing for Sylvester to fetch the stick this time. The Happy Hooligans was a crack Air National Guard unit that went on to win the United States Air Force s William Tell competition in 1992 and won the Hughes Trophy in 1995. Pappy Duane Larson was born in Regent, North Dakota and graduated from Regent High School. Duane joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1941. Originally he was assigned a truck driver position. After successfully passing the suitability test he entered the Army Air Corps pilot program and did his flight training in Selma, Alabama and P 51 Mustang P51 training at Rice, California . As a P5l Mustang fighter pilot and Flight Commander Duane flew 68 combat missions in the European Theater during WW II with the 8th Air Force .
