Life Francisco Montes was born in Mexico City . He was the son of Alejandro Montes de Oca, a military officer killed in the Battle of Buena Vista in February 1847, and his wife Guadalupe Saucedo. Montes attended the Colegio de San Juan de Letr n and afterwards courses of physics and botany at the Escuela Nacional de Medicina currently Faculty of Medicine UNAM Faculty of Medicine of the UNAM . In 1856 he began his studies of medicine. He had several assignments in civilian clinics. He took part in the battles during the Reform War 1858 1861 , and in the Battle of Tacubaya , where he was given thanks by an order from General Santos Degollado. The following makes no sense he continued with live, because some minutes, the General Marques killed every surgeon, nurse and patints. He worked during the French intervention in Mexico 1861 1867 . The Fernando Montes de Oca Fencing Hall is an indoor sports venue located in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City area of Mexico City . It hosted the Fencing at the 1968 Summer Olympics fencing competitions and the fencing part of the Modern pentathlon at the 1968 Summer Olympics modern pentathlon competition of the 1968 Summer Olympics . The Olympic Fencing Hall was built between November 13, 1967 and September, 1968, in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City. The 310 by 210 foot rectangular structure is covered by a convex roof of corrugated asbestos supported by steel cables. The ground floor had 15 fencing strips each of which was provided with a two sided scoreboard, a judges podium and a control table and 37 cubicles for competitors. On the south side were facilities for the press, dressing rooms, etc. The north side housed offices, a lounge, a warm up area and additional dressing rooms and service areas.
