Neurosis & Jarboe was a collaboration effort between the post metal sludge metal group Neurosis band Neurosis , and the former Swans band Swans keyboardist vocalist Jarboe . They released their Neurosis & Jarboe album self titled debut album in 2003 on Neurot Recordings . The album s artwork was designed by Jarboe collaborator Cedric Victor . There are currently no plans for a follow up album. The collaboration was fully realized in several live performances throughout 2004 and 2005. During Neurosis two hour set, Jarboe joined the band to perform four songs from their collaborative album in addition to a cover of Patti Smith Patti Smith s song Easter. The band performed in various US cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia, in addition to a European show in London.
