Shi te Views Ibn Hajar Al Haytami Al Makki s al Sawa iq al Muhriqah literally Loud Frightening Lightning is deeply critical against Shi tes as a sect and their views and beliefs. The title itself is termed to be as a sign of the scathing attack on them. Later Shi ite scholars, most notable from the Islamic Schools of Lucknow, India and Qom, Iran refuted the claims of al Sawa iq al Muhriqah in their texts and books. Thus, Ibn Hajar is not considered a respected scholar in Shi ite views and texts.
