About the 2008 film Mucenici film Unreferenced date April 2011 Mucenici Romanian M cinicii is a Christian feast of the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste , a traditional holiday in Romania and Moldova . It coincides with the start of the agricultural year. Those who observe this holiday clean their households and light fire to garbage collected from their homes, to bring warmth outside. Food Some believe that when the Martyrs were drowned, flowers rose to the surface. As a result, the desserts are made in the figure 8 to look like garlands. Others believe that the figure 8 denotes a stylized human form of the martyrs themselves. In Moldova, dough in the shape of the figure 8 is baked, then smeared with honey and walnuts. In the Muntenia and Dobrogea regions of Romania, the dough is smaller and cooked in water with sugar, cinnamon and crushed nuts, symbolizing the lake where the Martyrs were cast. Ora ul de Floci , also Cetatea de Floci or T rgul de Floci is a lost city of Wallachia , now in Romania . The city was located at the confluence of Ialomi a River and the Danube , on the old riverbed of the Ialomi a. The name meant The Wool City in Romanian language Romanian , as it was an important market town . The city is first mentioned in 1431 during the rule of Dan II of Wallachia , but probably existed as trading post in the previous century. It was set on fire by Stephen III of Moldavia during the wars with Wallachia under the rule of Radu cel Frumos who was an ally of the Ottoman Empire . The city recovered quickly, but it was once again destroyed by the Poland Polish and Tatars Tatar troops of Simion Movil . The city finally decayed due to the Russo Turkish War, 1768 1774 , when most inhabitants fled due to the fighting. In the place of the city was formed the village Piua Petrii , which was destroyed, in turn, during the floods of early 20th century. Currently, the ruins of the city are located in the territory of the Giurgeni commune. Two main reasons are indicated first the throttle of the starboard engine jammed, remaining in takeoff thrust, while the other engine reduced slowly to idle, creating an asymmetrical thrust condition that ultimately caused the aircraft to roll over and crash. Second, the crew failed to respond to the thrust asymmetry. The captain did not say anything on the flight recording during the emergency and it was concluded that he was either incapacitated or missing from his seat.
