    Apodoulou lang el is the archaeological site of an ancient Minoan civilization Minoan mansion or ceremonial building. Geography Apoudoulou overlooks the Libyan Sea . Altitude 450m above sea level Archaeology Apodoulou was first excavated by Spyridon Marinatos in 1934. The area was inhabited from Late Neolithic times to the Minoan pottery Late Minoan period, and the building was in use in the Minoan pottery Middle Minoan III period. The site has yielded Linear A inscriptions on a basin and fragments of a stone cylindrical jar, as well as a small golden axe. 400m north of Apodoulou is a Late Minoan vaulted tomb. Four sarcophagus were found here and are on exhibit at the Archaeological Museum of Rethymno . Geography Fournou Korifi was built at the top of a steep hill, with excellent views of the coast. Archaeology Fournou Korifi was first excavated in 1967 by Peter Warren.     Orphan date November 2006 Sklavokampos also Sklavokambos is the archaeological site of an ancient Minoan civilization Minoan settlement in Crete , used during the Minoan pottery Late Minoan period. Geography Sklavokampos is just southwest of Tylissos . Archaeology The site was discovered while constructing a road to Anoyeia and was first excavated in the 1930s. A multiple story building was found at the site. Its main room yielded a clay ox head, a Minoan pottery LMIB style jug and a stone rhyton . The building had at least 17 rooms. Finds from an upper story included 39 sealings, a cylindrical vessel, a stone hammer and a clay foot. Seal impressions from one the Sklavokampos sealings have been found in Zakros , Gournia and Hagia triada Hagia Triada . No fresco es or gypsum finishings were found at the Sklavokampos building, which are commonly found in Minoan palaces.
