    Sir John Allen Johnson Walsh, 1st Baronet c. 1745 &ndash December 1831 was an Irish landowner and Member of Parliament. He was born John Allen Johnson also spelled Johnston , the eldest son of Allen Johnson, of Kilternan in County Dublin , by his wife Olivia, only daughter of John Walsh, of Ballykilcavan in Queen s County . The second son was Sir Henry Johnson, 1st Baronet Henry Johnson , who was created Johnson Baronets a Baronet in 1818. His father died on 30 July 1747, so, on the death of his grandfather Allen Johnson on 25 August following, Johnson succeeded to the family estates. On 24 February 1775 he was created Johnson Walsh Baronets a Baronet in the Baronetage of Ireland . He represented Baltinglass Parliament of Ireland constituency Baltinglass in the Irish House of Commons from 1784 to 1790 and was High Sheriff of Queen s County in 1792. In 1808 he succeeded his maternal uncle Raphael Walsh Dean of Dromore to the estate of Ballykilcavan, and adopted the additional surname of Walsh by Royal Licence of 9 May 1809. In 1783 he married Sackvilla died 1841 , first daughter of Edward Brereton, of Springmount in Queen s County, by his wife Frances, daughter of Philip Rawson. Their children included John Allen Johnson Walsh, eldest son. High Sheriff of Queen s County in 1812 predeceased his father. Sir Edward John Johnson Walsh, 2nd Baronet .     John Michael Johnson born June 3, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas , United States USA is a retired American bantamweight boxing boxer . He briefly held a championship in that division. Professional career Known as Bam Bam, Johnson turned professional in 1986. In 1994 he won the World Boxing Association WBA bantamweight title by knocking out Junior Jones in the 11th round. Later that year, Johnson lost the Championship belt belt in his first defense to Daorung Chuvatana via a first round technical knockout. In 1999 challenged Lehlohonolo Ledwaba for the vacant International Boxing Federation IBF super bantamweight title but lost a decision. Johnson is married to Sandra Johnson. They have three children, John Michael Johnson Jr., Alexandra Marie Johnson, and Jessica Michelle Johnson. In 2001 Johnson made a comeback and scored four victories, including a technical knockout over Antonio Diaz and a knockout in the first round over Augie Sanchez . Due to his success, he was named Ring Magazine comeback of the year Ring Magazine comeback of the year . Nov. 28, 1938 in Vancouver , Canada was a Canada Canadian businessman and the List of lieutenant governors of British Columbia Lieutenant Governors of British Columbia, 1871 present 14th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia . Johnson left the United Kingdom in 1888 and settled in Portland, Oregon where he worked for a bank. Ten years later, Johnson transferred to the Vancouver office of the bank. In 1900, Johnson quit and went to work for the B.C. Sugar Co. , ultimately becoming president of that company in 1920. Johnson was appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia in 1931. He was sworn into office on August 1 of that year and served in the role until 1936. Johnson retired from the office in ill health and died in Vancouver two years later.
