Jaitly or Jaitley or Jetley is a surname from India and its surrounding regions. This is a Saraswat Brahmin caste and is part of Panjatias five subcastes . Panch J ti The five families or Panjatias are Jaitly, Jhingan , Kumaria, Mohla & Trikha. Jaitlys are originally from Amritsar , Lahore , Rawalpindi and other areas of erstwhile west Punjab, but now are spread all over northern India. Bhattacharya, Hindu Castes and Sects also gives the historical details of this Brahmin family. The Panjatias are the highest order of Brahmins in the Punjab region Punjab . The album featured a confusing line up of musicians, since Sumon credited both musicians that had left the band and had joined after the album was recorded.
