The theatre was built in 1974 under The Name Country Place Jamboree, by KY businessman Robert Buffin. Built as a family entertainment venue in an area, that at the time, had few. All auditorium seats are theatre style and give an unobstructed view of the stage. During 2004 Country Place was bought by a local area musician and his wife, David and Tomiyia Barrett, in hopes of renovating this lovely building and keeping the dream of good clean family entertainment alive.
