When a Berlin journalist celebrated in a famous caf about news of the loss of the ship RMS Lusitania , torpedoed by a German submarine, Frank was upset and slapped the man in his face. That is why he went into exile in Switzerland 1915 18 , where he wrote a series of pacifist short stories published under the title Man is Good . He returned to Germany, but after the Nazis gained power in 1933 Frank had to emigrate a second time. He lived in Switzerland again, moved to London then Paris and finally fled under adventurous conditions to the United States in 1940, and returned to Munich in 1950 following the war. His best known novels were In the Last Coach 1925, tr. 1935 and Carl and Anna which he dramatized in 1929. In 1947 MGM made a movie titled Desire Me out of this story. Leonhard Kleber c. 1495 &ndash March 4, 1556 was a Music of Germany German organist , and probably composer, of the Renaissance music Renaissance . He was born in G ppingen . He graduated from Heidelberg University in 1512, and was probably a pupil of the famous blind organist and composer Arnolt Schlick around that time. He is known to have held three positions after his graduation at Horb am Neckar , as organist and vicar choral, in 1516 and 1517 at Esslingen am Neckar as organist until 1521 and at Pforzheim from 1521 on, where he was organist at the collegiate and parish church. During this period he had numerous organ students, and was evidently renowned as a teacher. He died at Pforzheim. In 1524 Kleber produced his most famous work, a huge tablature containing 112 separate compositions, mostly by other composers. It was compiled between 1521 and 1524, and contains 332 pages several hands are identifiable in the manuscript, though none have been identified. None of the music is attributed to its composer, although most has been identified some of the anonymous pieces may be by Kleber himself. Composers represented in the tablature include Paul Hofhaimer , Hayne van Ghizeghem , Heinrich Isaac , Josquin des Prez , Jacob Obrecht , Antoine Brumel , Heinrich Finck , Ludwig Senfl , Hans Buchner , as well as others. Leonhard Dientzenhofer also Johann Leonhard Dientzenhofer 20. February 1660 in St. Margarethen Bavaria , Rosenheim district District of Rosenheim 26. November 1707 in Bamberg was a German builder and architect from the well known Dientzenhofer family of architect. Family Leonhard was the seventh child of Georg Dientzenhofer and Anna Thanner. His four brothers Georg Dientzenhofer Georg , Wolfgang Dientzenhofer Wolfgang , Christoph Dientzenhofer Christoph and Johann Dientzenhofer Johann were also well known architects builders.
