    Servant of God Mar Mathew Makil March 27, 1851 January 26, 1914 was a Catholic bishop of the Syro Malabar Catholic Church . He was born in Manjoor village Manjoor , Kerala , India . He was the third son of Thomman and Anna Makil puthenpurayil. On completion of clerical studies and formation he was ordained priest by Archbishop Leonard Mellano, Vicar Apostolic of Verapoly on 30 May 1874. Fr. Mathew celebrated his first Holy Mass in Vanampadi Church at Varapuzha on 8 June 1874. He was appointed Vicar General for the Southists in the Vicariate of Kottayam in 1889. When the Vicariate Apostolic of Kottayam and Trichur were re organized into Trichur, Ernakulam and Changanassery in 1896, he was nominated Titular Bishop of Trallus and appointed Vicar Apostolic of Syro Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Changanassery Changanassery .     Chera Dynasty Rajasekhara Varman Rama Rajashekhara Varman usually identified with the Cheraman Perumal Nayanar Great man of the Cheras ref Sviderski 40 ref ref Nayar 88 ref reign 820 844 AD was second king of the Later Chera dynasty and a Saivaite Nayanar regal saint. He is said to have ruled from the seat of Cheras, Karuvur Vanchi located on the shores of Anporunai or from Mahodayapuram Thiruvanchikkulam . He also ruled the Koduntamizh regions of Kuttanadu, Venadu and Tenpandinadu, the first two north and south modern Kerala and the third, the southern tail end districts of Tamil Nadu from his seat. He was a friend of Sundaramoorthy Nayanar a Saivaite saint. It was during his reign 820 44 AD the Kollavarsham began. Rajashekhara Varman is also reputed to have issued the Vazhapalli plates .
