It is the sequel to Konami s Track and Field arcade game Track & Field and features seven all new Olympic Games Olympic events. Like its predecessor, Hyper Sports featured two run buttons and one action button per player. While not quite achieving the commercial and critical success of Track and Field , Hyper Sports still proved to be very popular among gamers. Gameplay The gameplay was much the same as Track & Field in that the player competes in an event and tries to score the most points based on performance criteria, and also by beating the computer entrants in that event. Also, the player tries to exceed a qualification time, distance or score in order to advance to the next event. In Hyper Sports, if all of the events were passed successfully, the player advances to the next round of the same events which are faster and harder to qualify for. Summary Hyper CVAD chemotherapy consists of two combinations of drugs courses A and B given an alternating fashion. The term hyper refers to the hyperfractionated nature of the chemotherapy, which is given in smaller doses, more frequently, to minimize side effects. CVAD is the acronym of the drugs used in course A cyclophosphamide , vincristine , doxorubicin also known as Adriamycin , and dexamethasone . Course B consists of methotrexate and cytarabine . The protocol was originally developed to treat leukemia in young, fit patients, due to its intensity, but has since begun to be used more widely. Indications Hyper CVAD chemotherapy is generally reserved for use in the treatment of serious and aggressive forms of hematological malignancy. There are serious side effects and complications arising from the administration of the various agents, which require careful management in an appropriate health care setting. Patients who receive hyper CVAD receive a careful work up to assess their overall wellness prior to the commencement of the regimen, in order to minimise undesirable outcomes.
