  1. Keach's Catechism

Image Benjamin Keach pillory.jpg right thumb Benjamin Keach was pilloried for writing a catechism. The Keach s Catechism also known as the 1677 Baptist Catechism or 1693 Baptist Catechism is a Reformed Baptist catechism consisting of a set of 118 basic questions and answers from scripture teaching readers the basics of the Reformed Baptist faith. The Catechism is similar to the earlier Heidelberg Catechism and Westminster Shorter Catechism Westminster Catechism except for the sections on baptism . The catechism followed the 1677 Baptist Confession which was later ratified by over 100 baptist congregations as the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith . The Confession was written by English Particular Baptists , who held to a Calvinistic analysis to give a formal scriptural explanation of their Christian faith from a Baptist perspective. One of the preachers active in creating Confession of Faith, Benjamin Keach , is often attributed with the writing of the Baptist Catechism commonly known as Keach s Catechism , although it was likely compiled by William Collins, Keach s associate in drafting the Confession. The catechism was officially published by the British Baptists in 1693. The confession which the catechism was based upon was later adopted by the Philadelphia Baptist Association in 1742 in America. ref David C. Haynes, Dudley C. 1. Racovian Catechism

The Racovian Catechism pol. Katechizm Rakowski is a Nontrinitarianism nontrinitarian statement of faith from the 16th century. The title Racovian comes from the publishers, the Polish Brethren , who had founded a sizeable town in Rak w, Kielce County , where the Racovian Academy and printing press was founded by Jakub Sienie ski in 1602. Authors The Polish Brethren or Ecclesia Minor were an antitrinitarian minority of the Reformed Church in Poland who had separated from the Calvinist majority, or Ecclesia Major in 1565. Several authors had a hand in drafting the Catechism Valentinus Smalcius , Hieronim Moskorzowski , Johannes V lkel and others. It is likely that some of the text had been prepared by the Italian exile Fausto Sozzini , who had settled among the Polish Brethren in 1579, without ever formally joining, and who died in the year before the Catechism was drafted. Despite his lack of any official status in the church Sozzini had been influential in bringing the Polish church round to a Christology which closely resembled what he had learnt from his uncle Lelio Sozzini in exile in Switzerland as a young man.
