Ira Donald Don Farrington need birth date 23 April 2000 was an American aviator pilot and aviation entrepreneur famous for his knowledge of Autogyro gyroplanes . Farrington was an airline pilot with Pan American World Airways until the company went out of business in 1991. He created a privately owned, public use airport called Farrington Airpark in his home town of Paducah, Kentucky . He bought the tooling and right to build the Air & Space 18A gyroplane in need date and with associates John Potter pilot John Potter and Clem Anderson , Air & Space America Corporation produced several new model 18A gyroplanes at that location. Farrington held several national and world records which were set in gyroplanes. After the end of Pan Am he worked full time as a gyroplane instructor and trained hundreds of pilots and other flight instructors. On April 13, 2000 Farrington crashed after suffering a heart attack while at the controls of an Air & Space 18A gyroplane. The aircraft veered to the right from an altitude of approximately 200 feet and hit the ground sideways. James Farrington October 1, 1791 October 29, 1859 was a United States Representative from New Hampshire . He was born in Conway, New Hampshire and attended the common schools there. He graduated from Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine in 1814. He studied medicine and engaged in practice in Rochester, New Hampshire in 1818. Farrington was a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives 1828 1831 and served in the New Hampshire Senate in 1836. He was elected as a Democrat to the Twenty fifth Congress March 4, 1837 March 3, 1839 . After leaving Congress, he was appointed one of the trustees of the New Hampshire Insane Asylum in 1845 and he resumed the practice of medicine. He was one of the organizers of the Rochester Bank, and served as president until his death in Rochester, New Hampshire in 1859. He was buried in the Old Cemetery.
