It was based in north western Tasmania in the town of Stanley, Tasmania Stanley , and included King Island Tasmania King Island . The seat extended as far east as Wynyard, Tasmania Wynyard and Burnie, Tasmania Burnie until 1903 when Electoraldistrict of Burnie the Burnie seat was created.
