for the hip hop label Ruthless Records Ruthless Records was the name of a Chicago, Illinois Chicago Punk rock punk record label . Founded in 1981 in music 1981 by the The Effigies Effigies , it was not a real business, but a name used by Chicago and Minneapolis punk bands from 1981 to 1990 Big Black , the The Effigies Effigies , End Result , Naked Raygun , Rifle Sport and Urge Overkill . The Effigies operated the label from its creation in 1981 until 1984, when they found the label to be distracting from their priorities with the band. They handed the label over to Big Black founder Steve Albini , who ran the label until it dissolved in 1990 in music 1990 . File SemanaSantaSevillaEstudiantes3.jpg thumb 230px De Mesa s Cristo de la Buena Muerte . Juan de Mesa y Velasco 1583 1627 was a Spain Spanish Baroque sculpture Baroque sculptor . He was the creator of several of the effigies that are used in the procession during the Holy Week in Seville . De Mesa was born in C rdoba, Spain C rdoba and baptised on 26 June 1583. He entered the workshop of Juan Mart nez Monta s in Seville in 1606. He died in the city in 1627. His early death, coupled with the large gaps in his biography, has led to speculation that he suffered from a chronic disease such as tuberculosis . Like his master, Monta s, de Mesa s works were realistic rather than imaginative in form, his sculptures closely replicate the human form. This was in line with the Catholic Church s Baroque aesthetic program for the visual arts following the Council of Trent , which sought to make the arts accessible to the poorly educated by using realistic forms. Processional effigies make up the bulk of de Mesa s extant work and are still objects of devotion. These works include Cristo del Amor , Cristo de la Buena Muerte and Cristo del Gran Poder .
