He was given the nickname Moon because many of his songs had the word moon in the lyrics . Betty Moon is a Toronto born Canadian singer songwriter, producer, and filmmaker currently living in Los Angeles. Having completed her fifth album entitled Rollin Revolution she has worked with notable musicians including Kenny Aronoff , Yogi Lonich , Wes Scantlin , Glenn Milchem , Gavin Brown musician Gavin Brown and Nick Milo and has contributed music for a variety of films including The Last Gasp starring Robert Patrick and Walking the Dead directed by Melanie Ansley . She was signed to A&M Records in 1990 and released her first self titled record in Canada in 1991.
