It originally consisted of Giorgio Spagna, who under the alias Cyber People released the single Polaris in 1984. It proved to be only a minor hit, as it was only released in Italy, and later in Germany on ZYX Records . Despite its initial sterile reception, it is considered a classic among its genre. Fact date January 2011 Spagna then released Void Vision in 1985, and it became Cyber People s biggest hit in Europe and parts of South America. Void Vision is considered part of the spacesynth genre, which evolved in the mid eighties and can be seen in works by other bands of that period, including Koto , Hipnosis and Laserdance . Two more singles followed, Doctor Faustu s and Digital Signal Processor , in 1986 and 1988, the former being composed by Swedish pop band Samedi and the latter written by Mirko Limoni, who achieved fame in the 1980s and 90s with fellow bands Hipnosis and Black Box band Black Box .
