The Coull Quartet premiered some of the later string quartets by the composer Robert Simpson composer Robert Simpson , who before his retirement and emigration to the Irish Republic lived close to the University of Warwick where the Coull Quartet have been quartet in residence since 1977. They also gave the modern premiere of Anton Reicha s String Quartet in G Major, Opus 48 No.2 1802 at the 2003 Cambridge Music Festival.     Gary Coull April 14, 1954&ndash October 26, 2006 was a co founder and chairman of CLSA , a brokerage house specializing in Asia Pacific stock markets. Born in Canada, Coull graduated in 1976 from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor of arts. From 1977 to 1983, he working as a business journalist for the South China Morning Post and the Far Eastern Economic Review . In 1983, Coull left journalism and started a small China investment and trading company. Several years later, he joined a Hong Kong brokerage firm, Winfull Laing et Cruickshank. The French bank, Cr dit Lyonnais subsequently took over Laing, bought out Winfull, and created the platform for what became CLSA. In 2003, Cr dit Lyonnais merged with Cr dit Agricole . Coull and a fellow journalist, Australian Jim Walker d. 2004 , co founded CLSA in 1986. Coull was influential in attracting international investors to Asia via, for example, CLSA s annual investors forum in Hong Kong .     Wikify date October 2010 The Zephyr Quartet is a string quartet based in Adelaide , South Australia. Zephyr has received tuition from the Takacs Quartet, the Australian String Quartet and at the National Academy of Music, performed at festivals including the Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Barossa Music Festival and the Glenelg Jazz Festival and has presented concert series in 2004 and 2005 to great critical acclaim. Zephyr has a continuing commitment to the development and promotion of contemporary classical music and often commissions and performs works by living composers. Zephyr is also committed to presenting concerts in an education context and often performs for primary and secondary school students as a part of the Musica Viva in Schools program.
