It was recorded at the first Turbonegro rehearsal in January of 1989 and only 50 copies some say 100 were made. The single was titled after the cheap Commodore 64 Commodore computer cassettes that they were copied onto. Half of these were included in the first 50 shrink wrapped and autographed, custom designed first edition copies of Route Zero , which was released in 1989 as well on Straitjacket Records , bassist Happy Tom Thomas Seltzer s own label. Someone once described the tape br Possibly one of the more difficult TURBONEGO items a limited edition of 50 Hand numbered, but heck if I can tell whether this is 18 or 48 I did loads of trading with these neurotic NORWEGIANS in the last late 80s and early 90s. BLP sources date November 2010 Simon Williams born January 1970, Stafford , England is a Leicester based musician and graphic designer . Music Williams aka Crayola currently fronts the indie pop band Sarandon band Sarandon , who have recorded several EPs and sessions for the BBC s OneMusic show and for Marc Riley s BBC Radio 6 program. In the mid 1980s, inspired by John Peel and bands such as The June Brides and Big Flame band Big Flame , he started his first band, The Colgates, began promoting in his local area and eventually set up his own cassette label, Thee Foundation For Nothing. The Speculator Boom of the 1990s main comic book collecting In reaction to the boom, comic book publishers began to market specifically to the collectors market. Knowing that many collectors are completist s, buying, for example, every issue featuring a certain character, publishers began to produce comics with multiple covers, and completists and speculators alike bought them by the millions. The variants often depended on whether the copy was sold through the direct market or at a newsstand . 1991 s X Men 1, featuring the artwork of superstar artist Jim Lee , had five covers. Designated 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, and 1E, the first four s cover images fit together to form a larger image, used again as the gatefold ed cover to 1E, released one month later. As of 2006, it remains the best selling comic book in history with sales more than 8 million copies. Not every issue with variant covers sold that well, but that didn t dissuade the publishers.
