The DBEW competition Design Between East and West for the one child family is an architectural competition, organized by the Hanssem corporation, a south Korean furniture company, which has been held in Seoul from 2001 to 2005 . The main purpose of the competition is to let designers from all over the world express their idea about a contemporary house inspired by the life in the Far east over crowded cities, where flats need to be as small as possible.
