Clipping is a surgical procedure performed to treat an aneurysm . If the aneurysm is intracranial, a craniotomy is performed, and afterwards an Elgiloy Co Cr Ni Alloy Elgiloy Phynox or titanium Sugita clip is affixed around the aneurysm s neck. Surgical clipping was introduced by Walter Dandy of the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1937. It consists of performing a craniotomy , exposing the aneurysm, and closing the base of the aneurysm with a clip chosen specifically for the site. The surgical technique has been modified and improved over the years. Surgical clipping has a lower rate of aneurysm recurrence after treatment. In January 2009, a team of doctors at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina pioneered a new approach for aneurysm treatment clipping aneurysms through an endoscopic endonasal approach. Description Transform is the task of converting cartesian coordinate system spatial coordinate s, which in this case involves moving 3D computer graphics three dimensional objects in a virtual world and converting the coordinates to a two dimensional view. Clipping computer graphics Clipping means only drawing things that might be visible to the viewer. Lighting is the task of taking light objects in a virtual scene, and calculating the resulting colour of surrounding objects as the light falls upon them. Usefulness Hardware T&L did not have broad application support in games at the time mainly due to Direct3D games transforming their geometry on the CPU and not being allowed to use indexed geometries , so critics contended that it had little real world value.
