  1. Broome Bulls

The Broome, Western Australia Broome Bulls are an Australian rules football team that play in the West Kimberley Football Association WKFA . They were formed in 1949 as the Meatworks Football Club and then became the Broome Bulls Football Club in 1995 after the Meatworks closed its doors in 1994. In the early days of the Meatworks the team was made up predominantly from workers at the local meatworks site plus tradesmen. Even after they changed to the Bulls they still maintained their workers tradition with most of the team made up of tradesmen, apprentices labourers and service workers. They also have a tradition of letting tourists have games. These people, usually only in Broome for a couple of months, would extend their holiday so that they could stay with the team. This means that the Bulls lose 10 15 players each year. Even with such a high turnover of players, the club has been very successful, winning 14 Premierships including 2 three in a rows 1962,1963,1964 and 1997,1998,1999 . The Bulls had a forgettable 1994 season with the lowest point being when the playing captain coach John Webb gave up and went home midway through a game. The coaching role was taken over by Sergeant Andy McRae. 1. Bulls of Guisando

Image Toros de Guisando.jpg thumb 250x The Bulls of Guisando The Bulls of Guisando lang es Toros de Guisando are a set of Celtiberians celtiberian sculpture s located on the hill of Guisando in the municipality of El Tiemblo , vila province vila , Spain . The sculptures, made of granite , represent quadruped s identified as Bull mythology bull s or domestic pig pig s. The balance of opinion favours bulls there are holes which have been interpreted as sockets for horns. The Bulls of Guisando are examples of a type of ancient sculpture called verraco s of which hundreds are known. They are associated with the territory of a celtiberian tribe called the Vettones . The Bulls may have been made during the 2nd century BC. Whether they are in their original position is debatable. There are some Latin graffiti on them which may mean they were repositioned in Roman times. The field around the Bulls was the place where the Treaty of the Bulls of Guisando was signed between Henry IV of Castile and his half sister Isabella of Castille on September 18, 1468, which granted her the title of Princess of Asturias thus ending a civil war in Crown of Castile Castile . Image 4digits 0.4 screenshot.png frame right 4digits , an Open Source version of Bulls and Cows. Bulls and Cows also known as Cows and Bulls or Pigs and Bulls or Bulls and Cleots is an old code breaking paper and pencil game for two players, predating the similar commercially marketed board game Mastermind board game Master Mind . It is a game with numbers that may date back a century or more. It is played by two opponents. The game can also be played with 3 digits instead of 4. On a sheet of paper, the players each write a 4 digit secret number. The digits must be all different. Then, in turn, the players try to guess their opponent s number who gives the number of matches. If the matching digits are on their right positions, they are bulls , if on different positions, they are cows . Example Secret number 4271 Opponent s try 1234 Answer 1 bull and 2 cows. The bull is 2 , the cows are 4 and 1 . The first one to reveal the other s secret number wins the game. As the first one to try has a logical advantage, on every game the first player changes. In some places, the winner of the previous game will play second . Sometimes, if the first player finds the number, the second has one more move to make and if he also succeeds, the result is even.
