The village is near the River Wye and lies between Hereford and Ross on Wye , and close to Ledbury . The Wye Valley Walk passes through Brockhampton. The main attraction of the Brockhampton Estate is Lower Brockhampton, a timber framed manor house that dates back to the late 14th century. The house is surrounded by a moat and is entered by a newly restored gatehouse at the front of the house. The house is surrounded by convert 1000 acre km2 of Arable land farmland and convert 700 acre km2 of woodland .
