Cecil Thomas Parker, son of the Thomas Parker, 6th Earl of Macclesfield 6th Earl of Macclesfield , and Rosamond Esther Harriet Longley, daughter of Archbishop of Canterbury Charles Thomas Longley , she married the William Clive Bridgeman, 1st Viscount Bridgeman 1st Viscount Bridgeman 1864 1935 on 30 April 1895 in Eccleston, Chester, England . As a result of her marriage, she was styled as Viscountess Bridgeman on 18 June 1929. She was invested as a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire DBE in 1924, after which she was also known as Dame Caroline Bridgeman . Bridgeman held the office of Justice of Peace JP and was a Board of Governors of the BBC governor of the BBC between 1935 and 1939. She died on 26 December 1961 of undisclosed causes.     There have been two Baronetcies created for a person with the surname Bridgeman , both in the Baronetage of England . The Bridgeman Baronetcy , of Great Lever Park in the County of Lancashire Lancaster , was created on 7 June 1660 for the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal Orlando Bridgeman , who was succeeded by his oldest son. The 5th Baronet, was elevated to the peerage as Baron Bradford in 1794 . The Bridgeman Baronetcy , of Ridley in the County of Chester , was created on 12 November 1773 for Orlando Bridgeman , Member of Parliament for Horsham UK Parliament constituency Horsham and younger son of the Sir Orlando Bridgeman, 1st Baronet, of Great Lever 1st Baronet , of the Great Lever creation. He was succeeded by his own son. The latter was Member of Parliament for Calne UK Parliament constituency Calne , Lostwithiel UK Parliament constituency Lostwithiel , Blechingley UK Parliament constituency Blechingley and Dunwich UK Parliament constituency Dunwich . His only son, the 3rd Baronet died unmarried and childless on sea on the way to the West Indies between November and December 1740 and the baronetcy became extinct. According to some sources, the possibility exists, that the 2nd Baronet had faked his death. In this case his son could not have succeeded him.   1. Maurice Bridgeman

    Sir Maurice Richard Bridgeman Order of the British Empire KBE 26 January 1904 &ndash 18 June 1980 was a United Kingdom British businessman and civil servant. The third son of the William Bridgeman, 1st Viscount Bridgeman 1st Viscount Bridgeman and Caroline Bridgeman , and younger brother of the Robert Bridgeman, 2nd Viscount Bridgeman 2nd Viscount , he was educated at Eton College , Berkshire and at Trinity College, Cambridge . In 1939, Bridgeman was petroleum advisor to the Ministry of Economic Warfare , and from 1944 to 1946 Principal Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of Fuel and Power . From 1960 to 1969, he was chairman of British Petroleum . Bridgeman was honored as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1946 and as a Knight Commander in 1964. He was also a Knight of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem . Bridgeman married Diana Mary Erica Wilson, daughter of Humphrey Minto Wilson, on 23 February 1933.     Lieutenant Colonel Peter Orlando Ronald Bridgeman , Territorial Decoration TD , Deputy Lieutenant DL , born 9 May 1933 is a United Kingdom British soldier. The son of Lieutenant Colonel Henry George Orlando Bridgeman and Joan Constable Maxwell, and grandson of the George Bridgeman, 4th Earl of Bradford 4th Earl of Bradford , he was educated at Ampleforth College , Yorkshire . Bridgeman served in the Scots Guards and the 7th Battalion, Royal Northumberland Fusiliers , reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was decorated with the Territorial Decoration in 1968. In 1975, he became High Sheriff of Northumberland , and in 1983 Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland . He is also a knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta . On 4 May 1967, Bridgeman married Sarah Jane Davina Corbett, daughter of Patrick Geoffrey Corbett. They have three children, one son and two daughters.
