Hubert Whitman Lilliefors 1928 &ndash February 23, 2008, Bethesda, Maryland was an American statistician, noted for his introduction of the Lilliefors test . He was a professor of statistics at George Washington University for 39 years, and also obtained his PhD there in 1964 under the supervision of Solomon Kullback .
