For the first born son of Esau Eliphaz Eliphaz is called a Temanite Job 4 1 . He appears in the Book of Job in the Hebrew Bible . Eliphaz appears mild and modest in his first reply to Job s complaints, he argues that those who are truly good are never entirely forsaken by Divine Providence Providence , but that punishment may justly be inflicted for secret sin s. He denies that any man is innocent and censures Job for asserting his freedom from guilt . Eliphaz exhorts Job to confess any concealed iniquities to alleviate his punishment. His arguments are well supported but God declares at the end of the book that Eliphaz believed an erroneous view of divine dispensations. Job offers a sacrifice to God for Eliphaz s error. Joseph Zuzarte Murumbi 1911&ndash 1990 was Kenya s second Vice President of Kenya Vice President from May 1966 until December 1966. He was a child of a Goan trader and a Maasai people Maasai woman, and he spent the first 16 years of his life in India . The declaration of the state of emergency on October 20, 1952, saw the Detention Imprisonment detention of the top two levels of leadership within the Kenya African Union , and Murumbi found himself thrust into the center of the party s leadership, as acting secretary general. He played a key role in securing legal counsel for the core group of detainees arrested in the emergency crackdown, and, together with Pio Gama Pinto , strove to make the world aware of the brutal nature of British imperial rule, through Indian newspapers such as the Chronicle . After resigning from politics in 1966, Murumbi co founded African Heritage with Alan Donovan, and it became the largest Pan African art gallery on the continent. Murumbi was not comfortable with Kenyatta s heavy hand in dealing with political opposition & the increasing corruption that was creeping into the Kenyatta government. Kenyatta was a huge beneficiary of the land grabbing that took place during the 1960s and 1970s. The Kenyatta family owns large tracts of land in the Coastal & Central provinces. Often this land was to be used to resettle squatters and ex Mau Mau fighters. Murumbi was thought to be close to Pio Gama Pinto, Bildad Kaggia & Dennis Akumu who were all critics of the Kenyatta government. Murumbi & Nyerere shared a Pan Africanist bond. Lawyer Pheroze Nowrojee concurs The assassination of Pinto illustrated to Murumbi the shocking extent to which the new government had departed from its promises. His feeling, evidently, was that these were not the values for which so many had suffered, and his departure was effectively only a matter of time. He was an avid art collector and he left behind over 50,000 books and sheaves of official correspondence. The Natio ... more details

Rawson Mbugua Macharia b. 1911, d. December 5, 2008, aged 96 ref name curtain The Standard, December 11, 2008 http www.eastandard.net InsidePage.php?id 1144001565&cid 4 Curtain comes down on man who lied against Kenyatta ref was the key prosecution witness at the trial of the Kapenguria Six , Kenyan nationalists amongst whom Jomo Kenyatta was prominent. Others were Bildad Kaggia , Kung u Karumba , Fred Kubai , Paul Ngei , Achieng Oneko . The Six were arrested in 1952, and tried in 1952 53 for the offence of managing Mau Mau , then a proscribed society. The prosecution witnesses, he claimed, had been coached, and some of them were rewarded with plots of land at the Coast. He had himself been offered a university course in public administration at Exeter University College, protection for his family, and a government job on his return from the UK ref See Lonsdale 2000 235 ref The affidavit was backed by a letter, apparently from the Attorney General at the time of the trial, detailing the promised benefits See the Time report . The affidavit led to a trial at which it was conceded by the government that the witnesses had been coached to better enable them to stand up to hostile cross examination , that they had been paid as compensation for loss of livelihood , and that Macharia had both lied at the trial and received the claimed bene ... more details
