Image Replace this image male.svg 150px right BertieMarshall born February 6, 1936 as Bertram Lloyd Marshall in Port of Spain , Trinidad is a Innovator pioneer , musician and music instrument maker of the Steel Pan . Life and Merits Marshall is credited to have introduced harmonic tuning of Steelpan notes in 1956, as well as inventing the Double Tenor instrument. He was also the first person to amplify the Steelpan. He developed the Quadrophonics , Six Pan and Twelve Bass together with Rudolph Charles of Desperadoes Steel Orchestra from Laventille . Marshall has been building and tuning instruments for Desperadoes since 1970. Marshall was part of a project of the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute in 1982 which investigated the possibilities of machine production of Steel Pans. BertieMarshall received the Chaconia Medal Gold in 1992. Greatheed was born on 19 October 1759, the son of Samuel Greatheed of Guy s Cliffe , near Warwick , by his wife Lady Mary Bertie, daughter of Peregrine Bertie, 2nd Duke of Ancaster . When residing in Florence he became a member of the society called Gli Oziosi and a contributor to their privately printed collection of fugitive pieces entitled The Arno Miscellany , 8vo, Florence, 1784. The following year he contributed to The Florence Miscellany , 8vo, Florence, 1785, a collection of poems by the Della Cruscans , for which he was termed by Gifford the Reuben of that school in the Baviad and M viad. A blankverse tragedy by him called The Regent was brought out at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane Drury Lane Theatre on 1 April 1788, but, though supported by John Kemble and Mrs. Siddons , was withdrawn after nine nights. The epilogue was furnished by Mrs. Piozzi . The author afterwards published it with a dedication to Mrs. Siddons, who had once been an attendant upon his mother, and was his frequent guest at Guy s Cliffe. Bertie Kerr 19 October 1896 &ndash 23 November 1973 was an Republic of Ireland Irish association football player during the 1910s and 1920s. He played for the amateur Bohemian F.C. Bohemians during his career. Kerr played full back throughout his career and was among the first athletes to represent Ireland at the Summer Olympics when he played in the Football at the 1924 Summer Olympics 1924 Olympics .
