The Banditproject is an open source collection of loosely coupled components to provide consistent identity services. It implements open standard protocols and specifications such that identity services can be constructed, accessed, and integrated from multiple identity sources. Portions of the identity services are an implementation of the Higgins trust framework . The Bandit system supports many authentication methods and provides user centric credential management. On this base of a common identity model, Bandit is building additional services needed for Role Based Access Control RBAC and for the emission of records to verify compliance with higher level policies. Bandit released two album s with different line ups. Bandit s debut Bandit was released in late 1976 on Arista Records . This album featured Jim Diamond Scottish musician Jim Diamond on lead vocals, Danny McIntosh on guitar, future AC DC band member Cliff Williams , James Litherland, and drummer Graham Broad , now of Roger Waters s band. A single music single entitled Ohio was also released. The punk rock music scene of the time caused a lack of attention and the band later parted ways. Diamond went on to join Ph.D. band Ph.D. , and gained a United Kingdom UK Top 40 Top 10 hit record hit with I Won t Let You Down . He later went solo and scored two more chart toppers. A second album, Partners in Crime , was released by Ariola Records in 1978, but that too fell into obscurity. The only member of the original line up to feature on the second album was McIntosh. The other band members for the second album were Gerry Trew, Theodore Thunder John Dentith , and Tony Lester. Both albums are long out of print. McIntosh is now the guitarist for, and husband of, the singer songwriter Kate Bush . This is not the same Bandit from the United States US who released their only album in 1975 on ABC Records , nor any other act with the same name since.
