Handball SA s primary purpose is to promote and develop team handball in South Australia, run junior and educational programs and administer team handball competition in the state. Handball SA is operated by a committee of volunteers whose current president is Lucas Turecek. THASA, as Handball SA was then known, was founded in 1987 and its first president was Dithe Schultz. The fortunes of the organization have been mixed since its inception. In the period 1992 2000 THASA oversaw a competition of 5 men s teams and 2 women s teams. Following this period, THASA was inactive for two years before it restarted in 2002 and is still in the process of rebuilding handball competition in South Australia to the level of the previous decade. In 2010, THASA was officially renamed Handball SA. Handball SA has sent both men s and women s teams to represent South Australia in the annual Australian Handball Federation National Championships on a sporadic basis since 1989. He lived through four governments in China, and had been appointed to various senior naval and political offices. Early life Sa Zhenbing was born in Fuzhou , Fujian province , to a Semu family who had lived in the area since the late Yuan Dynasty . Between 1869 and 1872 he attended the Fuzhou Naval Academy Deng Shichang was among his classmates. Between 1877 and 1880 Sa Zhenbing was among the first group of Fuzhou Naval Academy alumni sent abroad to study at the Old Royal Naval College Royal Naval College, Greenwich in Britain. Battle of Weihaiwei After serving as a Chief Mate in the Nanyang Fleet , Sa Zhenbing became the youngest captain in the Beiyang Fleet . Launched as the 2 litre, it only later became known as the SA, the car had been originally planned as an advanced performance saloon to rival the likes of SS Cars Ltd SS Cars later to be known as Jaguar and even Bentley with all independent suspension and was given the factory code of EX150 and designated the S type. A prototype was made but with the amalgamation of MG with Morris Motor Company Morris Motors in 1935 development stopped. The Cowley drawing office picked up the project again but a much more conservative car appeared with conventional live rear and beam front axles. The car used a tuned version of the six cylinder 2062 cc Morris QPHG engine which it shared with the Wolseley Motor Company Wolseley Super Six but enlarged to 2288 cc.
