    Image Charles Leickert 1816 1907 Ice View With Skaters.jpg thumb right Ice View With Skaters Charles Henri Joseph Leickert 22 September 1816, Brussels 5 December 1907, Mainz was a Belgium Belgian painter of Netherlands Dutch landscapes. Orphan Leickert first learned painting in The Hague under the supervision of landscape painters Bartholomeus van Hove , Wijnand Nuijen , and Andreas Schelfhout among many others. Leickert specialised in winter scenes, sometimes romanticising the sky in pale blues and bright pinks. He painted almost all his works in the Netherlands, from 1841 1848 in The Hague and from 1849 1883 in Amsterdam . In 1856, he became a member of the Royal Academy of Amsterdam . Lehmden was a co founder, together with Ernst Fuchs artist Ernst Fuchs , Rudolf Hausner , Arik Brauer and Wolfgang Hutter , of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism . He settled in Vienna after 1945 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . In 1948 he was represented in exhibitions of the Vienna Art Club and has also been represented in many international exhibitions. He taught in Istanbul from 1962 63 and from 1971 97 was Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 1966 he acquired the Renaissance castle Schloss Deutschkreutz Burgenland , which he has since been restoring. The artwork is attributed to Master of the Legend of Saint Lucy. Master of the Legend of Saint Lucy floruit fl. 1480 1510 was an unidentified Early Netherlandish painting Early Netherlandish painter who worked in Bruges , now a city in Belgium . His name comes from for an altarpiece in the church of James, son of Alphaeus Saint James in Bruges, which is dated 1480 and depicts three scenes from the life of Saint Lucy . Since then, twenty five to thirty five paintings have been attributed to the same hand. He may have trained Spanish people Spanish students at his studio in Bruges. Many of them are characterized by views of the city of Bruges in the background, and can be dated according to the level of construction of its belfry. He may have trained with Dieric Bouts , and was certainly influenced by Bruges greatest artist at the time, Hans Memling .
