    refimprove date November 2011 The Aquarian Tabernacle Church , abbreviated as ATC , is a Wiccan church located in Index, Washington and is considered the first Wiccan church with full legal status and recognition by major governments, the United States, Canada and Australia. It was founded as a church by Pete Davis Pete Pathfinder Davis , the current archpriest, in 1979. The current archpriestess is Deborah Hudson, and Reverend Barbara Lauderdale is the Director of Institutional Pastoral Care Services. The church is based on British Traditional Wicca but the purpose is to provide services to the larger Paganism Pagan or Neopagan community, such as open worship, festivals, and a lending library. The policy of open attendance assists this goal. Festivals include Hecate Hekate s Sickle Festival Samhain and Spring Mysteries a recreation of the Eleusinian Mysteries . In 2002, Raymond Buckland wrote that the ATC has grown by leaps and bounds to become one of the most respected Wiccan institutions in the country, if not the world.     The Greater Warner Tabernacle AME Zion Church is a historic church congregation presently located in a building at 3800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee . It was reportedly a station on the Underground Railroad . It is part of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church denomination, which was established in 1796 and has been referred to as the freedom church for its part in the abolitionist movement . The congregation was first established in 1845 on Fuller Street, on land donated by a religious German people German . This first church was known as Warner Tabernacle the first actual building was not constructed until the late 19th century. It was destroyed by storms in 1908, and the second church was completed in 1910. In 1967, the congregation moved to Speedway Circle and its name was changed to Speedway Circle AME Zion Church .
