Unreferenced stub auto yes date December 2009 In astrodynamics , apseline or line of apsides is an imaginary line defined by an orbit orbit s eccentricity vector . It is strictly defined for elliptic orbit elliptic , parabolic trajectory parabolic , and hyperbolic trajectory hyperbolic orbit s. For such orbits the apseline is found for elliptical orbits ndash between the orbit s periapsis and apoapsis also known as the major axis for parabolic and hyperbolic orbits ndash between the orbit s periapsis and Focus geometry focus Note For circular orbit s apseline is not defined, because eccentricity orbit eccentricity is equal to zero. As it is required as a base for the definition of true anomaly , it is usually arbitrarily assumed as a line pointing into the direction of the vernal equinox . nofootnotes date January 2011 An apse chapel , in church architecture, is a chapel radiating tangentially from one of the bays or divisions of the apse . It is reached generally by a semicircular passageway, or ambulatory , exteriorly to the walls or piers of the apse. In plan, the normal type of the tangential chapel is semicircular some, however, are pentagonal, and some composed of a small circle, serving as cililhoir, and part of a large circle, as nave some are oblong with eastern apses. In England, sometimes an ambulatory connects the north and south aisle s of the choir and from the ambulatory projects an eastern chapel or chapels. The eastern chevet of Westminster Abbey . surrounded by five apsidal chapels, is the only complete example of this feature in England. The common source of the ambulatory and radiating chapels seems to have been the church of St. Martin of Tours , where originally there was a choir of two bays, and an apse of five bays, surrounded by a single ambulatory and five radiating chapels. Altars, which had before cumbered the nave, could now be placed in the new radiating chapels of the ambulatory, which afforded the necessary access to them. Each apsidal chapel could be treated as a sanctuary, to be entered only by the officiating, priest and his attendants, and the ambulatory served as the necessary nave for the worshippers. The usual number of these radiating chapels is three. Apse chapels are often found in the cathedrals of the Benedictine foundations, and occasionally in those of the Cluniac reform. St. Martin of Tours, St. Savin, and Cluny have five choir chapels Amiens, Beauvais Cologne, and Le Mans have seven apsidal chapels. No ambulatory .... Context date October 2009 Unreferenced date November 2006 Image PC watercooling T Line 2009 12 03.jpg right thumb 200px Typical single waterblock DIY Watercooling setup in a PC utilizing a T Line A T line is a simple alternative to a pressure tank , air trap or any other filling, bleeding, and draining device. It is constructed by plumbing a Tee connector tri barbed, with a perpendicular secondary flow pattern, shaped like the letter T into an existing tube thus creating an alternate flow path. However, instead of routing the secondary path back into the system flow, it is simply left open or closed off using an end barb or other capping device. The tube itself thus can act as a mini reservoir and allows air bubbles to travel into it as they are caught into the Tee connector, and ultimately travel out of the system bleeding . A common use for a T Line is in a watercooling system such as those found in enthusiast PCs. The T Line is an integral part of a do it yourself watercooling system alongside the traditional choice of a reservoir. Major reasons for choosing a T Line over a standard reservoir are cost, simplicity, and space constraints. Fill Ports example The fillport by DangerDen are specifically made with T Lines in mind, and serve the purpose of capping the T line in an air tight and re openable re sealable fashion.
