    Contains Chinese text The Zuiweng Pavilion zh c Old Toper s Pavilion , is a Chinese pavilion pavilion lying to the south east of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, People s Republic of China. Located in the Mount Langya Scenic Area , the structure is also known as the Number one pavilion under heaven . It was originally constructed in 1046 CE during the Song Dynasty Northern Song Dynasty whilst the structure that exists today dates to the Qing Dynasty 1644&ndash 1911 . The Philips Pavilion was a World s Fair pavilion designed for Expo 58 in Brussels by the office of Le Corbusier . Commissioned by Philips , an electronics company based in the Netherlands , the pavilion was designed to house a multimedia spectacle that celebrated postwar technological progress. Because Corbusier was busy with the planning of Chandigarh Architecture and urban planning Chandigarh , much of the project management was assigned to Iannis Xenakis , who was also an experimental composer. The pavilion is a cluster of nine paraboloid hyperbolic paraboloid in which music was spatial music spatialized by sound projectionists using telephone dials. The speakers were set into the walls, which were coated in asbestos , creating a textured look to the walls. Edgar Var se drew up a detailed spatialization scheme for the entire piece which made great use of the physical layout of the pavilion, especially the height of it. The asbestos hardened the walls which created a cavernous acoustic. The European Union funded a virtual recreation of the Philips Pavilion, which was chaired by Vincenzo Lombardi from the University of Turin .
