lunar crater data latitude 13.9 N or S S longitude 7.3 E or W E diameter 25 km depth 0.9 km colong 353 eponym S. W. Burnham Sherburne W. Burnham Burnham is a small Impact crater crater located to the southeast of the crater Albategnius crater Albategnius , in a relatively smooth area of the moon lunar surface. To the southwest is Vogel lunar crater Vogel . The irregular tooth like shape of the rim of Burnham protrudes to the southwest, giving the wall a distorted, asymmetric appearance. There are breaks in the rim to the northwest and southwest, the later forming a valley running about 15 km. The interior floor is rough and irregular, and lacks anything resembling a central peak. The crater is otherwise unremarkable. Satellite craters By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid point that is closest to Burnham. class wikitable width 25 style background eeeeee Burnham width 25 style background eeeeee Latitude width 25 style background eeeeee Longitude width 25 style background eeeeee Diameter align center A align center 14.8 S align center 7.1 E align center 7 km align center B align center 15.3 S align center 7.3 E align center 4 km align center F align center 14.3 S align center 6.9 E align center 9 km align center K align center 13.6 S align center 7.4 E align center 3 km align center L align center 14.2 S align center 7.6 E align center 4 km align center M align center 14.1 S align center 9.0 E align center 9 km align center T align center 14.7 S align center 9.6 E align center 4 km References Lunar crater references Moon crater stub Category Impact craters on the Moon da Burnham m nekrater fa fr Burnham crat re ... more details
