In the Victory Hotel at Lilla Nygatan, a few builders found 18 000 silver coins and 84 silver objects buried in a corner of what today is the hotel s bar, Leijonbaren. At the end of the 18th century, a rich family by the name of Lohe lived in the building, and the treasure was probably a part of the family s fortune, but nobody knows for sure why it was buired and why it was forgotten.
