  1. T-aerial

Citations missing article date May 2009 A T aerial is an antenna radio used for VLF, LF, MF and shortwave transmission or reception. It consists of a horizontal wire suspended between and insulated from two radio masts and towers radio masts or towers . A vertical wire is connected to the middle of the horizontal wire and hangs down close to the ground, where it is connected to the transmitter or receiver. The two wires form a T shape, hence the name. Sometimes a group of parallel wires, known as a cage, is used instead of a single wire. This reduces the Q factor of the antenna and broadens the bandwidth over which it will provide good impedance matching . T aerials are frequently used as transmitting aerial for long and medium wave broadcasting. 1. Elevated photography

Mergefrom Mast photography date September 2009 Unreferenced date September 2009 Elevated photography is a process to take aerial photos with a system that is ground based and emulates an airborne asset. In some ways more flexible than aerial or satellite imaging, elevated photography is a way to get highly detailed images with a bird s eye view. Other reference to this type of imaging is mast photography or pole assisted photography . This is an alternative to traditional imaging processes and allows customization of image collection and also offers synoptic timelines making this process a useful tool for construction management, litigation and many other applications. The price of elevated imaging is generally quite reasonable and include varying degrees of compatibility with elated engineering quality software. Because it does not involve an aircraft, the overhead and cost associated with its operation can be lower. Elevated photography is relatively new in the United States but the concept of getting aerial images is not. Used extensively in areas outside the United States, it can be used in a variety of ways but it serves as the link between getting a less than satisfying aerial image or becomes the next step up from ground level hand held imagery. One problem with elevated photography is its difficulty in getting map like coverage of an area with its sodastraw aspect of collecting data. This can be offset by stitching with the advent of new and current digital camera systems.
