It became the center of a high profile incident when it was seized in international waters off of Somalia by pirates in April 2006. The crew and the ship were finally released in August 2006 after the payment of a ransom estimated at several hundred thousand dollars. According to media reports, the boat was in international waters near two other vessels when two speedboat s approached and landed armed attackers on board. They seized control of the ship and moved it into Somalia s territorial waters . The ship was pursued briefly by US and Dutch naval ships, but these gave up the chase when the pirates threatened the crew with guns. The 25 person crew consisted of Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Chinese sailors, in addition to South Koreans. All four countries followed the subsequent events closely. The released crew were greeted upon their arrival in Mombasa by the assembled ambassadors of their home countries. Club is a final club established at Harvard University in 1836, the continuation of a chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternities and sororities fraternity existing as an honorary chapter until 1846, and then as a regular chapter until the late 1850s. At that time, owing to the prevailing sentiment against such societies, it became a strictly secret society, known among its members as the Haidee, the name of a college boat. The chapter surrendered its charter in 1865, and has since existed as the A.D. Club. Clubhouse In 1872, the club rooms were moved from the upper story of a brick house on Palmer Street to a building on Brattle Street Cambridge, Massachusetts Brattle Street . These rooms were occupied until 1878, when a club house was obtained on the corner of Mt. Auburn and Dunster Streets.
